When I trained to become a Master Coach, learning how to run the coaching end of my business, we were asked to set our intentions for what we wanted to create in our businesses.
I wrote down two things:
I intend to learn how to blog, then write a program – with a book of short stories – that used my life as the canvas to demonstrate the value of coaching. And;
I intend to use my life to help people and organizations grow.
I have way too many years of business strategy experience to be a one-on-one coach full time, so I took a two-prong approach to building my business. I left my corporate gig about four years ago, and so far my intentions are coming together. I’m just starting to feel like myself again.
You’re reading this; so you know I figured out how to blog. And I’m sure you’ve heard about RightLife RuleBook.
Well, RightLife RuleBook is completed and it’s available! It took me a full year to create this program and I’m now working with amazing individuals that are using it. They tell me things like:
“I didn’t want our monthly call to end!” or “I’m realizing this IS the work I need to focus on – for myself.” or “I’m now able to have difficult conversations without anger, while holding my ground.”
I know for sure that RightLife RuleBook is the foundation for my Master Coaching work moving forward. It is a personal online coaching course that can be completed in the privacy of your own home, in your own time, or you can work through it with me as your coach.
I’m thrilled that this is now a part of LG’s toolbox and portfolio. On that front, of course, my intention remains. So a RightLife RuleBook book of stories and a workbook is on its way!!
Now it’s time to move on to that other prong: organizations.
I wanted to create a cool integration of marketing, communications, and coaching to grow businesses. So, what’s the best way for a small to medium organization to grow?
How could a company strategically think about its business plan with me?
… AND receive the visuals needed to market it;
… AND the right communications to grow it;
… AND the media tools to let it thrive!?
Well, I’ve worked with companies that really struggle to keep up with the seemingly simple task of social media marketing – an easy, inexpensive and accessible way to enter the market of publicizing and promoting their business.
Companies struggle to keep up with the fast-paced demands of maintaining a strong social media presence, often posting unplanned photos and quick captions just to stay top of mind with their customers.
Companies have also shared how employees get distracted from their job responsibilities when they participate in the company’s social media posting. Often leading to more phone time, and less attention to their work. The lack of consistency in the style of each post lends itself to diminishing the company’s brand with no oversight.
Companies also spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on social media advertising without a strategic vision or focused goal, and without much insight on their return on investment.
But the key is that GREAT social media is led and driven by strong visuals: VISUAL THRIVE
So I’m partnering with Indermaur Media, Inc. They work with lots of businesses on their professional photography needs and video introductions; and they’ve cornered the market on commercial visual narratives – telling the stories of a business with photos and video alone.
How could I take all that knowledge and translate it into a workable formula that would serve the smaller companies?
How could Visual Thrive provide a compelling and effective solution to a business’ social media dilemma at a reasonable price point?
Indermaur Media will extend its production capabilities and expertise while capturing a company’s visual narrative using the world’s most popular camera, an iPhone, and maintain a simple and streamlined process aligned with what people are used to seeing on social media.
LG Coaching will bring strategic planning and research & writing to optimize each post; and provide analytics each month, and be able to show customer the return on their investment.
